The P.W. Gillibrand quarry in Simi Valley, CA is the site of an ancient marine deposit and therefore our volleyball sand products have many of the same characteristics found in beach sands throughout California. These sands are scrubbed, washed and air dried leaving a minimal silt and clay content and making them an ideal playing surface for the recreational or professional player.
